When I first made hats, I was lucky enough to have the beautiful owner of Hooke Farm Bed and Breakfast Dorset model for me.  Now she has opened a luxury bed and breakfast at Hooke, near Beaminster and I am sure it will be a success.  She is a talented artist herself and any visitors to the farm will have the opportunity of finding out how for themselves.  She and her husband are fantastic hosts.

Bridal Fascinators instead of Bridal Tiaras

Brides these days are opting for fascinators instead of tiaras. If Camilla can opt to wear a fascinator when she got married to the Prince of Wales, why can’t you?

They are stylish; easy to wear; bold in statement and don’t give you hat hair. They can be dramatic and spectacular or dainty and petite. There is one to suit everyone – and on every base be it a comb or an alice band or a simple hairclip.

They can be worn by the Bride; the Mother of the Bride; the bridesmaids; the wedding party.

Camilla was married to Prince Charles in a fabulously bold Philip Treacy fascinator and she looked a million dollars.

We love wedding fascinators!

Wedding Fascinators Fashion Shoot

We have had fantastic fun with our wedding fascinators fashion shoot today.  We were lucky enough to have the help of two beautiful models:  one blonde and one with dark hair so we can show off our range of colours in all sorts of different styles.  This shot was taken on the loggia of a friend’s beautiful Dorset house, but as you can see, the wind turned out to be a little bit too much and so we moved to a slightly more sheltered location.  We also took the opportunity to photograph some wedding hats and some other bespoke items for www.ajhats.co.uk.  I can’t wait to get them all loaded onto the website.
